It sports a one of a kind natural finish. I got the guitar with about half the creme finish removed. Previous owner had started the project and never finished it. So I removed the rest of the paint and then sanded it down to very fine grit sandpaper and finally buffed it. The result is a very smooth, satin finish all over. There is still a thin layer of base coat on the wood though it is wearing
