This is the Medal design that won at the Los Angeles Olympics Arts Competition in 1932. Robert Tait McKenzie was an Artist, Doctor, Soldier, and Scout. He was born in Almonte Ontario, which is just outside Ottawa, Canada's Capital. McKenzie was a lifelong friend of another Almonte luminary, James Naismith, the inventor of Basketball.
