The chain has lion hallmarks on each link on the chain indicating the piece is 'sterling silver'. The albert clip is hallmarked with the makers mark 'EW&S', Lion and Letter 'b'. The letter 'b' indicated the piece dates back to 1901. A pocket watch and chain is an excellent addition for a groom
