Rioja Reserva, Torre de Ona 2012 Grape variety_Riesling Their Bourgogne Blanc isA very fine, mature Rioja Reserva from renowned La Rioja Alta's more recently acquired estate in Rioja Alavesa. This is predominantly hand harvested Tempranillo from four vineyards on clay limestone soils surrounding the winery, with just a touch of Mazuelo. Ageing is for 18 months (40% in new French oak), resulting in a sleek, concentrated wine with dark, supple fruit and notes of soft spice, licorice and pepper, and a touch of vanilla on the finish
