From prison he appears to have issued the present letter, anonymously, to John Glynne, a Welsh Lawyer who became Lord Chief Justice under Oliver Cromwell. Glynne himself was a Presbyterian. It drips with sarcasm; Glynne had in fact issued the orders that led to Swadlin
